My name is Puneet Gupta and I’m proud to be an Ambassador for Local Recovery. I have lived and worked in the Inverclyde area for over 40 years and have seen firsthand the impact that the pandemic has had on our businesses, both big and small.

This also means I have a good understanding of what they need right now: community support and investment. That’s why I joined Local Recovery; because I want to help our economy and our communities to bounce back.

As an entrepreneur myself, I know that business owners will be doing all they can to recover after the pandemic. But many of them are finding that their hard work alone is not enough.

We need to encourage local and national governments to provide more resources that will help local communities get back on their feet. By driving investment towards our high streets and local projects, we will ensure our neighbourhoods, towns and villages become more attractive places to do business.
