Scottish Borders Levelling Up Fund Bid

Scottish Borders Council has submitted a bid worth £19.8m for 14 different projects focused on heritage, place and tourism. It has also bid for an additional £19.5m for 14 transport projects across the region.

This is a huge opportunity for Scottish Borders Council to invest in our community and its future. Local Recovery is excited to be supporting the Council’s bid which we hope will be able to deliver projects such as an upgrade to local attractions like Sir Walter Scott's Courtroom in Selkirk, the Trimontium Museum in Melrose and the Netherdale stadium in Galashiels as well as regenerating town centres in areas like Eyemouth, Hawick and Jedburgh..
