Local Recovery is supporting Moray Council’s bid for the latest round of levelling up funding.
If granted, the funding will deliver £18.29 million in total for projects which will help Moray’s economic, social and environmental recovery. Moray Council plans to distribute the funding across a series of redevelopment initiatives in Elgin which will benefit all of Moray.
The projects will range from the re-opening of the Elgin Club to the creation of a new creative arts centre on South Street. Facilities like the café, ticket office and toilet blocks will be renovated and improved at Cooper Park and a new student social space will be set up in partnership with Highlands and Islands Student Association.
This is a huge opportunity for Moray Council to invest in these areas and secure their future. Local Recovery is excited to be supporting the Council’s bid and we will keep you in the loop on its progress.
